Assistant Chief Concierge – Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Assistant Chief Concierge supports the hotel’s guest‑service team by handling special requests, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless stay. This role combines front‑line guest interaction with back‑office coordination to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for transportation, reservations, dry‑cleaning and other special arrangements.
• Gather and provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, events and activities.
• Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages and inquiries, routing them to the appropriate department (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping).
• Review shift logs and prioritize outstanding requests from the previous day.
• Monitor office inventory and order general supplies as needed.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reported thefts or security concerns.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Act as a role model for the Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain positive working relationships and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or concierge services.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Capability to handle multiple guest requests simultaneously under pressure.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding company assets.
• Willingness to support staff development and uphold safety procedures.
