Assistant Client Manager, Affinity

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Assistant Client Manager to join its Affinity team within its risk business, based in Singapore. The Affinity team manages a diverse portfolio of existing and new clients, offering expert guidance and insurance solutions tailored to each client's business objectives and risk profile. The role suits someone with strong insurance technical skills, proven client management experience and Microsoft Office proficiency. It is a hybrid position with at least three days a week spent in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture existing client relationships
• Develop and execute tailored insurance solutions aligned with client business objectives and risk profiles
• Prepare new and renewal proposals and quotation slips using Microsoft Office
• Negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters, brokers and insurance carriers to secure competitive rates and favourable coverage
• Maintain accurate client records and communicate promptly about renewals, changes and claims

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in insurance brokerage or related insurance industry roles
• Proven track record of managing and growing client portfolios in insurance markets
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products, coverage types, policy structures and underwriting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including assessing risk and managing claims
• Able to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high client service standards

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
