Assistant HR Manager – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on HR professional to manage day‑to‑day HR operations for JEN Singapore Tanglin. You will partner with Division Heads to deliver HR support that meets Shangri‑La Group standards and Singapore employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll processing, including statutory filings and coordination with payroll vendors.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, probation reviews, and contract administration.
• Provide HR advisory and employee‑relations support to managers and staff.
• Support performance‑management, compensation exercises, and work‑pass administration.
• Coordinate employee‑engagement initiatives, HR reporting, and HR‑related projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in HR or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience with strong payroll exposure.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proficient in Excel, detail‑oriented and confident using HR systems.
• Proactive, hands‑on and comfortable working in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
