Assistant Manager – Financial Services Tax

About the role

Deloitte's Financial Services Tax team in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Manager to provide tax advisory and compliance services across a range of financial‑services subsectors. You will work with a diverse group of tax advisors, accountants, lawyers and economists, supporting clients throughout the entire tax lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tax research and produce technical advice for clients.
• Supervise the preparation of tax computations and filings.
• Lead tax workstreams on M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, modelling and SPA support.
• Manage, train and coach junior team members.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and support business‑development activities.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, law, economics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in tax advisory, preferably within financial services.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
