About the role
The successful candidate will join Singapore Airlines' Internal Audit Division to lead and strengthen the whistleblowing and fraud investigation function across the SIA Group and SIAEC Group. This role involves managing the end‑to‑end whistleblowing process, conducting investigations, and delivering clear reports to senior management and audit committees.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full whistleblowing lifecycle: intake, triage, routing, tracking and case closure.
- Lead or support investigations into whistleblowing and fraud reports, including planning, interviews, evidence gathering, documentation and remediation follow‑up.
- Prepare concise investigation reports with findings and recommendations for management and audit committees.
- Oversee the outsourced whistleblowing vendor, ensuring platform performance, service quality and periodic reviews.
- Coordinate referrals of specific report categories to relevant business units in line with the Group Whistleblowing Policy.
- Periodically review the Group Whistleblowing and Internal Investigation policies.
- Develop and maintain e‑learning content on whistleblowing and fraud awareness, tracking completion across the Group.
- Deliver educational talks at town‑halls, conferences or internal training events.
- Collaborate with internal auditors and business units on ad‑hoc fraud risk assessments, data analytics and control advisory.
- Utilise data analytics and AI‑assisted tools to identify patterns, anomalies and emerging fraud risks.
- Act as Secretariat to the SIA Group Loss Committee, handling meeting coordination and material preparation.
Required profile
- University degree in any discipline.
- Professional qualification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred; commitment to obtain CFE within two years of joining.
- Experience in investigation, risk management, internal audit, legal, data analytics or process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, resourceful and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Tableau for data visualisation and analysis.
