Assistant Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (1‑Year Contract)

About the role

This 1‑year contract position supports the Corporate Banking team in Greater China by handling client onboarding, day‑to‑day servicing, and new‑business initiatives. You will work closely with relationship managers, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery of banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding, KYC, CDD and AML processes with customers, onboarding and compliance teams.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and provide ongoing servicing.
• Assist relationship managers in evaluating new transactions, preparing account opening documents, credit proposals and presentation decks.
• Participate in roadshows and customer visits alongside relationship managers.
• Monitor accounts, conduct periodic loan and account reviews, and track covenant compliance.
• Raise waivers for policy deviations and maintain healthy loan portfolios.
• Complete regulatory checklists in line with bank policies.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department or relationship manager.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of AML/KYC procedures and credit/financial analysis.
• Strong presentation, product and market knowledge.
• Good operational, administrative and communication skills.
• Basic customer relationship management capabilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
