Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support daily operations at Seroja Singapore, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience. Working on-site full-time, you will collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager and both front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house activities and coordinate service flow with the kitchen.
• Maintain service standards throughout each shift, monitoring food and beverage quality.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
• Manage reservations, guest flow, and table allocations.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Support stock and inventory checks and enforce hygiene, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Restaurant Manager to implement operational improvements.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer service and ability to manage guest feedback professionally.
• Experience in food & beverage operations and understanding of restaurant service standards.
• Skills in hiring, staff coordination, and supporting team development.
• Clear and confident communication with guests, team members, and management.
• Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management (preferred).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices; relevant certifications are a plus.
