Assistant Site Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Assistant Site Manager supports day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring progress against the programme while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute site works in line with the approved master programme, deploying resources to meet milestones.
• Forecast and monitor site resource requirements – manpower, materials, plant, machinery and facilities – to keep works progressing without delay.
• Review drawings ahead of construction and resolve technical issues with the Technical Department before they affect site progress.
• Chair site meetings and coordinate between project staff, internal departments, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes and site documentation.
• Ensure all works are carried out to specifications, approved drawings and method statements, and enforce safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or Diploma with 8 years).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a site supervisory or management capacity.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of BCA and MOM regulatory requirements, including WSH standards.
• Knowledge of WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) standards.
