Assistant Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Supervisor will support the restaurant Supervisor in overseeing daily operations, guiding staff, and ensuring high service standards across all HS Eating House locations in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations and coordinating staff activities to maintain smooth workflow.
• Supervise employees to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity, enforcing company policies and safety regulations.
• Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to enhance team skills and service quality.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability.
• Help schedule staff shifts and allocate work assignments efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor to achieve departmental goals and uphold service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Business, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage Management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively within a team.
