Assistant Supply Chain Manager (East/ MNC/ AWS + VB)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to support procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier performance across our dynamic manufacturing operations in the East region. The role offers the chance to drive operational excellence, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities, including purchasing, logistics, and inventory control, to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Interpret customer demand forecasts and coordinate with business partners to maintain supply continuity.
• Monitor stock levels, oversee warehouse operations, and optimise material flow.
• Identify and implement process improvements in purchasing, logistics, and overall supply chain.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships: sourcing, qualification, performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and audits.
• Analyse supplier performance on delivery reliability and quality metrics.
• Explore overseas sourcing opportunities and lead cost‑saving initiatives.
• Support purchasing activities for customer service teams and contribute to monthly operational planning.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in industrial purchasing, supply chain, or procurement.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with sourcing, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Willingness to travel overseas for supplier visits and audits.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, including warehouse or clean‑room settings, is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
