About the role

The Assistant Teacher (English) supports the lead classroom teachers in delivering daily learning programmes for young children. This role combines classroom assistance, routine child care, and preparation of teaching materials while fostering engagement with parents and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily English learning activities.
• Provide routine care and supervision for children throughout the school day.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources, lesson materials, and children’s development profiles.
• Support the planning and execution of parent‑teacher meetings and community outreach events.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum Secondary 2 education.
• Early Childhood Education certificate (e.g., Fundamentals) is an advantage.
• Pleasant disposition with strong communication skills.
• Enjoy working with young children and supporting their development.
