AV Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior AV Engineer to lead the design, installation and support of advanced audio‑visual systems across Singapore. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure flawless live events and high‑level meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the setup, integration, testing and configuration of complex AV systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Provide advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to resolve AV issues during live events and meetings.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, system checks and firmware updates, recommending improvements based on performance analysis.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders, delivering clear consultation and detailed service reports.
• Guide junior engineers through system setups and troubleshooting, enforcing best practices, safety standards and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, IT or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in AV installation, operations and technical support.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems including displays, projectors, DSPs, microphones and video‑conferencing solutions.

Required skills

• AV system integration (displays, projectors, DSPs, microphones, video‑conferencing).
• AV networking fundamentals such as VLANs, IP routing, Dante and AV‑over‑IP technologies.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of AV equipment.
• Firmware updates and preventive maintenance procedures.
