About the role
We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business applications and products. The role focuses on Java and Spring Boot development, database design, and deployment on Google Cloud Platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Java‑based business applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases, queries and data access layers.
- Build, deploy and support applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Contribute to application architecture and take ownership of product deliverables to ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required profile
- Strong design and programming skills in Java.
- Experience delivering reliable backend solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines and specifications.
