Backend Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails (iGaming)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain robust solutions for our digital entertainment (iGaming) platforms. You will work closely with product and operations teams to deliver high‑quality features that enhance user engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, enhance and support software solutions for iGaming platforms.
• Build and integrate application features, APIs and supporting services using modern frameworks.
• Maintain source code repositories, perform code integration and contribute to continuous testing and improvement.
• Manage data storage across relational and non‑relational databases, ensuring performance, integrity and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver new features, resolve technical issues and improve product capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Ruby on Rails in a commercial environment.
• Proficient in web application development using Ruby on Rails and/or Microsoft technology stacks.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python.
• Familiarity with source‑control practices and dependency‑management tools.
• Understanding of relational and non‑relational databases, data modelling and query optimisation.
