Baker – Commis (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Baker Commis to join our bakery team. You will work with established recipes to produce a wide range of breads and viennoiseries, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard recipes and measure ingredients accurately.
• Knead, roll, cut, and shape dough for breads and pastries.
• Monitor oven temperatures, mixing machines, and other equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all baking surfaces and tools.
• Record temperatures and production data in log sheets.
• Decorate, glaze, pipe, or apply icing when required.
• Prepare, pack, and coordinate baked‑goods deliveries with drivers.
• Manage inventory, receive supplies, and organize storage areas.
• Print daily orders and recipes, file them properly, and assist with stock counts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a baker’s assistant or similar role.
• Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and shift work.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.
• Team player with self‑motivation and good time‑management.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Operation of dough sheeter, dough slicer, dough divider, dough roller.
• Use of heavy‑duty mixers and ovens.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and health‑safety regulations.
