Bar Manager – Music Bar & Live Nightlife

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead the daily operations of Ipanema World Music Bar, a vibrant venue known for live music and nightlife. You will own the bar’s performance, profitability, and guest experience, ensuring it aligns with our music‑driven atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily bar operations and maintain smooth service flow.
• Manage the outlet’s budget, including revenue, labour costs and profitability.
• Motivate and supervise the bar team to deliver fast, friendly, high‑quality service.
• Ensure drink quality, consistency and adherence to standards.
• Oversee inventory management, stock counts, ordering, wastage control and cost optimisation.
• Coordinate promotions with the operations team and drive effective upselling.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and provide courteous service.
• Schedule, train and evaluate staff performance.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety, hygiene and operational standards.
