Business Analyst – Business Process Re‑engineering (KYC)

About the role

Abeam Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead Business Process Re‑engineering initiatives focused on KYC within the banking sector. You will work closely with both business and technology teams to analyse, redesign, and optimise end‑to‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process discovery and document current‑state (As‑Is) processes.
• Analyse operational pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement‑gathering sessions.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, business rules, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with solution teams to clarify requirements and resolve gaps.
• Review solution designs to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Maintain requirement traceability and assess change‑request impacts.
• Support UAT planning, test case reviews, execution, and defect resolution.
• Develop SOPs, user guides, and process documentation.
• Support user training, business readiness, and solution adoption activities.
• Track process improvements and benefits realisation post‑implementation.
• Act as liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Consultant or similar role.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services, with knowledge of Loans, Trade Finance, Remittance and KYC.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirement discussions.
• Hands‑on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities with strong English proficiency.
