Business Controller – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Business Controller will ensure transparent and accurate regional financial data, supporting leadership with monthly reporting and strategic insights. This 1‑year contract role acts as a finance business partner for Country Management, IT, and Facilities/Procurement, driving ROI and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regional financial planning, forecasting cycles and produce monthly reporting packages for the Leadership Team.
• Analyse P&L performance, focusing on actual vs. budget variance and prepare quarterly post‑mortem reviews.
• Build financial models to evaluate new initiatives and conduct ad‑hoc analysis for urgent business needs.
• Support strategic sourcing by researching market trends, gathering competitive intelligence and visualising data for sourcing opportunities.
• Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures, identifying bottlenecks and simplifying reporting workflows.
• Participate in digital transformation projects, helping migrate from legacy systems to cloud‑based platforms.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and communicate financial insights.
