Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller will act as a strategic finance partner, ensuring transparent and accurate regional financial data while supporting decision‑making across multiple functions. This role combines financial stewardship, analytical insight, and technical ownership of budgeting platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional financial planning, forecasting and monthly reporting cycles, delivering packages and leadership decks.
• Partner with Concepts & Services, Human Resources and Merchandising to provide financial analysis, build models for new initiatives and conduct ad‑hoc analyses.
• Own and continuously improve Anaplan budgeting and forecasting models, acting as the Anaplan lead and coordinating system enhancements with external consultants.
• Maintain and update SOPs for reporting and planning, identify bottlenecks and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
• Support digital transformation projects, helping transition the controlling function to cloud‑based platforms.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality financial insight.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining models in Anaplan.
• Advanced ERP and reporting expertise, preferably with SAP.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools.
• Comfort using Google Workspace for collaborative financial modelling.
• Experience with AI tools such as Gemini to optimise workflows and data modelling.
