Business Development Executive, Markets (Senior Consultant / Manager)

About the role

PwC's Clients and Markets function covers market priorities, client development and business growth. This Business Development role works closely with the line of service markets leader to support growth priorities, client programmes and agreed initiatives. It involves turning leadership priorities into structured plans, coordinating stakeholders, improving visibility of client and pipeline opportunities and tracking delivery and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate agreed growth priorities into practical plans with clear milestones, responsibilities and measures of success.
• Work with account teams on client plans that strengthen relationships and identify opportunities across the firm's services.
• Use client research and opportunity insights to prioritise activity, support proposals and connect clients with relevant expertise from the local and global network.
• Develop and deliver agreed initiatives and client programmes across teams.
• Engage with senior leadership and shape growth priorities for the portfolio.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in business development, markets, strategy, account management, programme management or a related field, with examples of contribution to business outcomes.
• Experience in client development, key account management, pipeline management or growth programmes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in professional services, a networked organisation or a business-to-business environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• Programme and project management, managing multiple priorities, dependencies and deadlines.
• Interpretation of business and performance data using reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Clear written, verbal and presentation skills.
