Business Development Manager - FinTech & Investment Technology

About the role

Drive growth for a fast‑scaling AI‑powered FinTech business and build relationships with leading financial institutions in Singapore. The role focuses on expanding the company’s footprint among banks, asset managers, hedge funds and other institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Singapore’s financial services landscape.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and onboarding.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders within financial institutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, training sessions and industry presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share market intelligence and customer insights.
• Establish strategic partnerships with ecosystem stakeholders and industry participants.
• Support marketing initiatives, networking events and business‑development programmes to drive market penetration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Exposure to financial services, fintech, investment solutions or market‑data platforms.
• Proven track record of client acquisition, revenue growth and meeting commercial targets.
• Strong stakeholder‑management, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.
• Good understanding of financial markets, institutional clients and investment‑related workflows.
• Existing network within Singapore’s financial services community is advantageous.
