Business Development Manager – IT Recruitment (Singapore/Remote)

About the role

Carecone Group is expanding its Singapore footprint and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition for its IT recruitment, staffing, and services business. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to signed contracts, and help grow the company’s presence in the technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients across IT recruitment, staffing and IT services.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to secure new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with prospects, understand their hiring and project needs, and propose tailored solutions.
• Present the company’s service offerings through meetings, pitches and formal presentations.
• Convert marketing‑generated leads into revenue‑generating accounts.
• Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations and rate cards.
• Negotiate contracts, service agreements and commercial terms.
• Report regularly on pipeline, client acquisition activity, conversions and revenue.
• Monitor industry trends, hiring demand and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure client expectations are met post‑sale.

Required profile

• 4+ years of business development or client‑facing sales experience, preferably in IT recruitment, staffing or IT services.
• Proven track record of winning new logos and meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore IT market, hiring landscape and employment practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Commercially astute with experience preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work autonomously.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office / Google Workspace.
