About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s client base in Singapore. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to pinpoint potential clients and emerging industries.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the organisation’s client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to uncover business opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute development initiatives.
• Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry exhibitions.
• Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue targets.
• Provide regular insights on market dynamics and customer needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or related fields.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess market data and competitor actions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Residency status in Singapore (Singaporean, PR, Pass holder or foreigner).
