C++ Software Engineer – High‑Performance Trading Applications

About the role

We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer to design and implement high‑performance applications that power a leading quantitative trading firm. You will work closely with traders and fellow engineers to deliver low‑latency, reliable systems that directly support front‑office trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low‑latency C++ applications used across the trading environment.
• Collaborate with traders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write Python scripts for tooling, automation, and testing.
• Optimize code for multithreading, data‑structure efficiency, and overall system performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong modern C++ development skills (C++11/14/17 or newer).
• Experience building trading applications or other high‑performance, real‑time systems.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and performance tuning.
• Experience with exchanges or electronic trading systems is a plus.
