Chef de Partie – Contract Kitchen Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to lead the kitchen operations at Subam Restaurant. In this contract position you will oversee food preparation, ensure the highest standards of quality, and mentor the culinary team to deliver consistent, delicious dishes to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Check freshness of food and ingredients and maintain inventory control.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other food‑preparation staff.
• Develop and refine recipes, plan menus and guarantee uniform serving sizes.
• Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and proper functionality.
• Direct the food‑preparation process, approve dishes before service and ensure presentation standards.
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients based on identified shortages.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of proven experience as a chef in a restaurant environment.
• Strong kitchen management abilities with a track record of organizing workflow.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide the team.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of culinary trends and best kitchen practices.
