Civil Engineer (Water)

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Civil Engineer specialized in water infrastructure to join its Infrastructure business. You will work on design and project management for water, drainage, sewerage and related civil works, collaborating with a diverse team of experts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive design and project management services for water, roadworks, earthworks, sewerage and drainage projects.
• Perform design calculations, produce sketch drawings, and prepare tender documents and proposals.
• Write, consolidate and review technical reports and studies for water projects.
• Resolve design and construction issues proactively and ensure compliance with client briefs, design criteria and relevant standards.
• Communicate effectively with project teammates and contribute to multidisciplinary teams across geographies.

Required profile

• Recognized civil engineering qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• 2 to 8 years of professional design experience in civil works, preferably on roads, drainage and sewerage projects for agencies such as PUB, JTC, HDB, URA, LTA.
• Strong understanding of civil regulations, standards and codes of practice (e.g., Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards, LTA, BCA, PUB).
• Excellent technical writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Energetic, proactive and reliable team player.
