Civil Engineering Consultant

About the role

EV Dynamics Private Limited is seeking a Civil Engineering Consultant to lead and supervise civil, structural and geotechnical works across Singapore. The role involves coordinating with contractors, authorities and consultants to ensure safe, compliant and high‑quality construction delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review authority and contractor drawings and design submissions.
• Supervise permanent and temporary civil, structural and geotechnical works, including MRT rail or road projects.
• Verify that contractors hold all required permits (NOA, NOC, POWS, TM approval, PTD, PTW, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections, enforce corrective actions and monitor safety, environmental and health standards.
• Coordinate with agencies, consultants and interfacing contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review formwork structures and ensure PE‑endorsed certificates of supervision are in place before concreting.
• Oversee instrumentation installation, monitoring, and de‑commissioning, and assess impact on surrounding structures.
• Maintain daily RFI registers, documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
• Participate in audits, joint inspections and safety walks with the Authority/Developer.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years on MRT rail or road works.
• Valid RE/RTO certification (2026) issued by JAC of IES/ACES.
• BCSS and/or confined space and working‑at‑height certifications.
• Willingness to work shift patterns and a 56‑hour work week.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles.
