Client Advisor – Private Banking

About the role

The Client Advisor will join HLB Private Bank in Singapore to drive client acquisition and nurture long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients’ financial needs, delivering tailored wealth‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new high‑net‑worth clients through networking, referrals and business‑development initiatives.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, conducting regular reviews of their financial circumstances, goals and risk profiles.
• Perform comprehensive financial needs assessments and provide advice on investment management, wealth planning, credit and lending, and banking services.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver integrated wealth‑management solutions.
• Develop and monitor tailored investment strategies, adjusting portfolios to optimise performance and manage risk.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC and other regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate client records.
• Contribute to the profitability and growth targets of the private bank and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide leadership and coaching to junior advisors as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in private banking, wealth management or a related financial services field.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of acquiring and retaining high‑net‑worth clients.
• Deep understanding of investment products, wealth‑planning strategies and credit solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as AML and KYC.
• Ability to work collaboratively across specialist teams.
