Cloud Infrastructure Engineer L2 – 1‑Year Renewable Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Level 2) to join our team on a 1‑year renewable contract. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating multi‑cloud environments while ensuring security, cost efficiency and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage cloud accounts and environments in AWS, Azure and GCP following governance standards.
• Design, implement and maintain IAM and RBAC policies, service accounts, key rotation, MFA and SSO federation.
• Build and operate cloud networking components such as virtual networks, subnets, routing, VPN, DNS, WAF and firewall rules.
• Deploy, scale and monitor IaaS compute instances with auto‑scaling, load balancing and cost governance.
• Manage PaaS services, including managed databases, serverless platforms and application services.
• Provision, maintain and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) with Rancher, handling namespaces, RBAC and network policies.
• Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Maintain Terraform codebases for multi‑cloud resource provisioning and conduct code reviews.
• Monitor cloud security posture, perform vulnerability scanning, and respond to privilege‑governance alerts.
• Track cost metrics, maintain dashboards and act on budget threshold alerts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud IAM, RBAC, key management and security best practices.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters and implementing GitOps.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and cost governance.
