Community Ambassador - Reception

About the role

JLL is hiring a Community Ambassador for its Reception function in Singapore. The role leads a team in building a lasting, open and collaborative relationship with clients through a unique, authentic experience, and takes part in the wider Regional Workplace Experience Community. It covers client engagement, communication, event management, vendor support, finance admin and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Create a client engagement strategy, engage guests, employees and stakeholders, embed a culture of empowerment in the FM team, and develop client support initiatives such as FAQs
• Lead internal communication strategies with client leadership, share event and celebration content through blogs, newsletters and other channels, and champion stakeholder meetings
• Plan a monthly/annual event calendar, write standard operating procedures, and organize events covering decor, catering, entertainment, transport, venue, invitations, equipment and promotional material
• Manage the vendor network, assist in procuring consumables and services, and inspect on-site contractors' work
• Support financial processes, including POs, GR, invoices, work orders, DAS reports and monthly accruals, and meet finance KPIs
• Assist in event risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity plans, follow escalation and incident reporting procedures, and comply with the firm's business conduct
• Report on events, run customer feedback surveys, and propose improvements to event and service quality

Required profile

• More than 5 years of event management or front-of-house experience in hospitality or real estate
• Portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and build productive business relationships
