Compliance Testing Specialist – Banking & Internal Audit

About the role

This position is for a Compliance Testing Specialist within a leading global bank. You will work closely with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure that banking processes meet regulatory standards and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the approved testing plan in line with the compliance testing methodology.
• Identify risks by evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls, and develop balanced action plans.
• Validate that management actions adequately address identified risks before closing actions in the system.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance testing, compliance assurance, or internal audit within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, risks, controls, and regulatory requirements across multiple business areas.
• Proven experience conducting control testing, identifying gaps, and validating remediation actions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage reviews end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a focus on clear articulation of findings and recommendations.
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
