Relationship Manager – AVP, Asia Network Management

About the role

This role focuses on relationship management across agent banks, custodians, and Central Counterparties (CCPs) in highly regulated environments. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact and escalation for operational matters, ensuring effective issue resolution and strong partnership management.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of regional strategies, drive change initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
• Manage and maintain strategic relationships with Agent Banks, Custodians and CCPs through regular engagement.
• Conduct periodic due diligence reviews to assess service quality, risk and performance.
• Review and evaluate fee structures and service charges for competitiveness.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and industry best practices.
• Support business growth initiatives, including establishment and closure of external accounts.
• Serve as primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely documentation, resolution and preventive measures.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate across cross‑functional teams, global networks and external partners using strong communication and influencing skills.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in network management, securities settlement, custody operations or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with custodian banks, agent banks, CSDs and CCPs.
• Proven track record in resolving settlement‑related issues, negotiating service level expectations and managing counterparty risk.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and commercial acumen with a collaborative approach.
• Highly accountable, proactive, adaptable with a continuous learning mindset.
