Concept Art Lead – Unpublished R&D Product

About the role

Riot Games is seeking a seasoned Concept Art Lead for an unpublished research & development product within its Singapore studio. You will guide a team of artists to produce inspirational concept art for characters, environments, and assets, ensuring the visual direction aligns with the game’s design pillars.

Key responsibilities

• Provide craft direction and set quality standards for the concept art team.
• Own full lifecycle management of team members, from hiring to performance development.
• Foster a highly engaged and creative workspace that unlocks individual potential.
• Drive innovative ideation and create aspirational concepts for 2D and 3D art.
• Collaborate with the Associate Art Director, product leads, and production teams in Singapore and Los Angeles to maintain workflow consistency.
• Define vision and strategy for team growth, deliver consistent feedback, and build trust.
• Lead and improve team rituals to support high‑quality craft and personal development.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in the video games industry.
• 2+ years experience in a management or lead role.
• Proven experience working directly with outsource vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate the craft of concept artists.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple studios.
