Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, contractors, and multiple stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for construction performance, procedures, and recommendations for improvements.
• Manage contractors, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, codes, standards, schedule, and cost.
• Interface with engineering teams and support construction activities.
• Develop and implement corporate construction policies.
• Oversee project activities to assure timely delivery and low waste.
• Lead a group of engineers and coordinate with other departments.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, clients, and suppliers.
• Provide regular project progress reports and attend execution meetings.
• Select, guide, and develop a multicultural labour force and management team.
• Ensure Quality Assurance, ISO standards, and customer specifications are met.
• Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (recognized university).
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience; marine construction experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to work independently.
