Construction Painter – Entry Level

About the role

Join SJ Engineering as an entry‑level Construction Painter, responsible for delivering high‑quality finishes on a variety of building projects across Singapore. This full‑time, onsite role offers hands‑on experience in surface preparation, painting, and colour mixing while working alongside a skilled team.

Key responsibilities

• Apply primers, sealers and various paint finishes to walls, rooms and structural elements.
• Prepare, clean and tape job sites to ensure a tidy working environment.
• Mix colours and oils to achieve the required hue and consistency.
• Remove old paint coatings when necessary.
• Move materials and tools around the site as directed.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safely dispose of debris.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with foreign workers.
• Work overtime and on public holidays as required.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with a willingness to work outdoors, including hot weather.
• Ability to read and adhere to safety labels, warnings and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks on construction sites.
