Construction Project Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to design, quality and safety standards. The role also involves managing site teams, liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and optimizing the use of materials and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of construction works, from planning and scheduling to execution.
• Coordinate and supervise site engineers, supervisors and workers to achieve project objectives.
• Review drawings, specifications and contracts for compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, provide regular updates to management and clients, and address potential issues.
• Ensure site activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, architects and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare budgets, monitor costs and manage procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor works.
• Conduct site meetings, resolve technical and operational challenges, and ensure timely handover, testing and commissioning.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Building or Construction Engineering.
• 5–10 years of construction management experience, preferably in civil, structural or architectural projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with BCA, LTA and relevant Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Valid WSH Safety Supervisor / bizSAFE / BCSS certification is an advantage.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred.
