Civil Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Civil Construction Project Manager will lead and coordinate all construction activities across multiple sites in Singapore, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. You will manage site teams, liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and oversee the efficient use of materials and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all stages of construction works, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and workers to achieve project objectives.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents for compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to management and clients on status, milestones, and potential issues.
• Ensure all site activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure resource efficiency.
• Manage procurement schedules for materials, equipment, and subcontractor works.
• Conduct site meetings and resolve technical and operational challenges promptly.
• Ensure timely completion and proper documentation for handover, testing, and commissioning stages.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Building, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction management, preferably in civil, structural, or architectural works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with BCA, LTA, and relevant Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Possession of a valid WSH Safety Supervisor / bizSAFE / BCSS certification is an advantage.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred.
