CSE Engineer Project

About the role

The CSE Engineer Project supports the most demanding elevator and escalator projects, taking over from the CSE Engineer, Solution during the start‑up meeting and coordinating all engineering work until hand‑over to maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate costings for change orders, variations and add‑works, collaborating with supply, installation and project management teams.
• Create and coordinate technical specifications and site surveys from MS 0b to MS 2z.
• Manage lead times, installability and maintainability of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with customer lifecycle needs.
• Verify compliance with local codes, safety regulations, environmental standards and KONE’s engineering policy.
• Produce layout designs, analyse change requirements and support project managers, installation supervisors and maintenance supervisors with solution information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in the elevator industry.
• Understanding of new construction and building modernization processes.
• Knowledge of KONE solution‑related norms, standards and supply operations.
• Strong virtual collaboration abilities and familiarity with quality management practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Experience using BIM software.
