Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end customer orders, ensuring operational compliance, profitability and excellent service throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate timely execution of all tasks in the shipment life-cycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, providing proactive updates and managing expectations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify upselling opportunities such as Cargo Care, GoGreen and insurance.
• Optimise gross profit through vendor and routing selection and handle escalations promptly.
• Coordinate with the Global Service Center (GSC) to ensure accurate back-office execution and monitor its performance.
• Oversee import/export processes, verify documentation, invoices and calculations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Customs, Finance, Warehouse, Sales and overseas offices to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Act as a bridge between internal teams, the GSC and customers to guarantee smooth execution.

Required profile

• Individual contributor with no direct people-management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of logistics and trade processes.
• Proactive, customer-focused attitude with ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues early.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Ocean freight, air freight, road transport and warehouse operations.
• Customs procedures, trade compliance and import/export regulations.
• Knowledge of sanctioned countries, bill of lading, certificate of origin, shipping order, commercial invoicing and packing list.
• Experience with third-party logistics coordination.
