Cybersecurity Cloud Engineering Lead (VP)

About the role

As a senior leader in cybersecurity cloud engineering, you will shape the security architecture of OCBC’s hybrid and multi‑cloud environment. You will ensure that security is built‑in by design, scalable, and compliant with regulatory expectations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise cloud security engineering strategy for public, private and on‑premise platforms.
• Establish security‑by‑design principles for cloud platforms, containers, DevSecOps pipelines and AI workloads.
• Design secure cloud architectures, including network segmentation, identity controls, runtime protection and resilience frameworks.
• Lead engineering and governance of container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Embed security into CI/CD and Infrastructure‑as‑Code workflows.
• Implement robust IAM, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring and operational resilience controls.
• Act as the senior technical authority for cloud security risk, ensuring compliance with MAS TRM and related regulations.
• Collaborate with Risk, Audit, Infrastructure and cyber‑defence teams to drive secure transformation and platform sustainability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cloud security engineering and governance.
• Proven leadership in designing and implementing secure hybrid/multi‑cloud solutions.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for financial institutions, especially MAS TRM.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional risk, audit and infrastructure teams.
