Data & Analytics Manager – Logistics

About the role

As the Manager, Data & Analytics (Logistics) you will lead a team responsible for providing in-depth logistics insights, from geographical operations and fleet performance to delivery efficiency and cost optimization. You will work closely with the Logistics and Service Operations teams as well as other analytics teams to ensure data‑driven decision‑making supports scaling needs and improves customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and mentor a high‑performing analytics team, providing hands‑on coaching to solve complex logistics problems and deliver scalable solutions with measurable business impact.
• Partner with logistics leadership to translate business priorities into high‑impact analytical initiatives, shape the analytics roadmap and support performance management in a fast‑paced environment.
• Design composite performance metrics, enhance semantic data models and collaborate with Analytics Engineering and AI COE teams to build and deploy scalable, self‑serve AI data products.
• Champion operations research and causal impact quantification methods, applying decision science to inform strategic trade‑offs, unlock efficiency opportunities and strengthen a data‑driven culture.
• Own logistics analytics outcomes from problem framing to execution, synthesize KPIs, trends and performance drivers into executive‑ready narratives that highlight risks and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience, with 8+ years in analytics/data science and a track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Proven impact in logistics, supply chain, or operations analytics, delivering measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, and service performance.
• Strong technical depth in SQL and Python, with experience in statistical modeling, experimentation (A/B testing/causal inference), operations research (simulations, optimization), ML‑based forecasting and building scalable data products via AI tooling.
• Exceptional problem‑solving in ambiguous environments, structuring complex business problems and translating insights into clear decisions and actions.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing talent, elevating analytics from reporting to a decision‑science function that drives business outcomes.
