Data Center Construction Manager

About the role

The Data Center Construction Manager will lead the technical project management of data center builds, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and aligned with regional best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Review and approve data center infrastructure construction methodologies from providers.
• Develop and enforce construction best‑practice frameworks to optimise resources across regions.
• Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders on project updates.
• Identify timeline and quality risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth handover.
• Support site‑selection activities within the region.
• Assist the EHS team in identifying risks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of field experience in construction, with strong familiarity with construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and plan construction activities according to industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
