Data Center Project Planner

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Data Center Project Planner in Singapore. The role covers planning, scheduling, tracking and coordinating data center build, upgrade, migration and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality, safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar, including WBS, milestones and timelines, and monitor progress and schedule risks
• Coordinate project dependencies across workstreams and work with project managers, engineers, vendors, contractors and stakeholders
• Facilitate status meetings, communicate updates and risks to leadership, and track resource allocation, manpower, equipment and facility needs
• Support capacity planning for power, cooling, rack space, network and compute infrastructure
• Maintain risk and issue registers, analyze schedule impacts of scope changes, and support change management and approvals
• Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards, schedule performance reports and KPI tracking, and support audits, documentation and compliance
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on delivery schedules, track procurement and equipment lead times, and monitor vendor performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
• 3-8 years of experience in project planning, data center construction, IT infrastructure projects or PMO functions
• Experience managing complex project schedules and dependencies, and with data center environments
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP or equivalent certification

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle management
• Knowledge of power, cooling, networking, servers, storage and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI and Excel
