About the role

The Data Scientist (Project Lead - Data Science/AI) bridges strategic business vision with AI delivery, leading end‑to‑end data science initiatives. You will translate complex business challenges into clear project objectives and guide solutions from ideation through production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand pain points, define project goals, and create detailed problem statements, scopes, and success criteria.
• Lead the full project lifecycle, including planning, milestone tracking, resource coordination, and delivery.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Developers to ensure AI/ML solutions are technically feasible and aligned with client requirements.
• Apply modern project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum tailored to data science workflows.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage documentation, approvals, and ensure smooth handover to operational teams.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable project plans.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, capable of presenting complex outcomes in business‑friendly terms.
• Experience in risk management and governance within AI or data‑driven projects.
