DfMA BIM Coordinator - Prefab MEP

About the role

The DfMA BIM Coordinator will lead a team of BIM Modellers in creating and managing 3D BIM models for prefabricated MEP systems across Singapore. You will ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs with structural and architectural elements while driving efficiency in DfMA workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and coordination of BIM models for prefab MEP projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks, Revizto, and Dalux, and resolve conflicts promptly.
• Mentor and supervise BIM Modellers, performing quality checks and organizing coordination meetings.
• Act as the primary BIM liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
• Develop BIM libraries, templates, and standardized workflows to support prefabrication.
• Promote adoption of new BIM tools and automation to increase productivity.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination, preferably in MEP or prefab MEP.
• Relevant qualification (NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or related fields.
• Proven experience leading a team of BIM Modellers.
• BCSS certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dalux, and Revizto.
• Strong understanding of prefabrication and modular MEP systems.
• Ability to perform clash detection and model optimization.
