Director, Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to own P&L targets and build trust‑based relationships with strategic domestic and regional accounts. You will drive long‑term value creation while ensuring high‑quality customer satisfaction across our e‑commerce product verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead acquisition of new accounts and manage a portfolio of leads and assigned prospects.
• Develop and execute regional go‑to‑market strategies and oversee smooth merchant onboarding.
• Present solutions to senior leaders and CxOs in airlines, travel, retail and other verticals.
• Act as liaison between prospects and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Forecast, monitor key account metrics, qualify leads and drive opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Report monthly and quarterly progress against targets to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in fintech, acquiring, or e‑commerce with a focus on digital payments.
• Proven track record in operations leadership, team management and cross‑functional project execution.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of payment flows, acquiring/issuing systems and risk/fraud frameworks.
• Familiarity with industry protocols such as tokenization, 3DS, settlement and reconciliation.
