About the role

This newly created senior leadership position reports to the CHRO and will shape Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Learning & Talent Management strategies for a large professional services firm. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to drive organisational effectiveness and build strong leadership pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Talent Acquisition, aligning hiring strategies, processes and workforce planning with business priorities.
• Develop and enhance recruitment policies, systems and processes to ensure efficient, high‑quality hiring outcomes.
• Lead Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives.
• Drive organisational development and change management to improve employee engagement, experience and readiness.
• Partner with senior leaders on complex employee‑relations matters and create progressive policies that foster a positive, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with at least 15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Proven success leading large‑scale organisational transformation across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Learning & Talent Management.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing HR teams in large, complex, matrixed organisations.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
