Electrical Engineer – New Product Development

About the role

Electrical Engineer focusing on new product development for Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs) at BeeX. The role involves close collaboration with mechanical and software teams to design, implement, and test electrical subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement PCB sub‑components, power electronics, and wire harnesses for HAUVs.
• Develop firmware on microcontrollers (Atmega, ARM) for real‑time control.
• Conduct bench, in‑water, and environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI‑EMC, humidity) and document performance.
• Gather user requirements and work with management and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–6 years experience designing electrical architecture for robotic or battery‑operated systems.
• Proven ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced startup.

Required skills

• PCB design using Altium Designer or equivalent CAD tools.
• Embedded firmware development in C++ (experience with Python a plus).
• Power electronics design for low‑voltage battery systems (boost/buck, regulation, protection).
• Wire‑harness and cable‑assembly design using 2D/3D software.
• Version control with Git and familiarity with EMI‑EMC, vibration, temperature, and humidity testing procedures.
