Project Engineer (Defense)

About the role

BeeX is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical planning and execution for defense‑focused autonomous underwater vehicle projects. Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with hardware, software and operations teams in both office and field environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of technical tasks across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate engineering activities to meet all technical requirements of contracts.
• Track project progress, timelines and deliverables, aligning with schedule and budget constraints.
• Manage compliance with technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports, updates and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies or work‑arounds.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics) with a business background.
• 0–3 years of experience in engineering, project coordination or technical program management.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience working with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Excel, Notion or Jira.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
