Events Manager – Pre-Opening

About the role

Join the Hilton Hotels team as an Events Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping memorable experiences for guests during the pre‑opening phase of DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay. You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, ensuring every detail reflects Hilton’s standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, and AV teams to secure quality services.
• Provide exceptional client service, addressing needs promptly and professionally.
• Manage event budgets, control costs, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance.
• Supervise and train event staff, handling scheduling and performance reviews.
• Oversee logistics including transportation, accommodations, and on‑site operations.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and Hilton brand standards, including Hilton EventReady programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning or hospitality logistics, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Multilingual ability is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ, and Market Planner.
